Pueblo County Busted Mugshots
A Pueblo County mugshot is taken at the jail during booking. It serves one purpose: identification. The Sheriff's Office runs the county Detention Center and keeps the booking record. The Pueblo Police Department writes its own reports for city cases. Even so, a city arrestee gets booked through the shared county system. Boone and Rye lack a police department or arrest log of their own. For those communities, PCSO is the practical starting point.
Intake follows a set routine. It opens with a medical screen. A deputy then takes custody and inventories clothing, property, and cash. After that, the person is photographed and fingerprinted. Staff log any new charges or warrants and run a Colorado Bureau of Investigation check. Charges filed at booking can be amended, merged, or dismissed later on.
Pueblo County Booking Record Fields
Think of the inmate lookup as a custody record. It is not a case file. Still, the list and detail screens pack in far more than a name and a charge. Every number on the screen carries its own meaning, so keep the labels straight when you call Records or a court clerk. Physical descriptions help when two people share a name. Just remember that entered traits may be rounded, and they can change over time.
| Field | What the Pueblo record shows |
|---|---|
| Identity | Last, first, and middle name; date of birth; sex; and race. |
| Physical descriptors | Height, weight, hair color, and eye color for careful match review. |
| Person identifiers | Name/person number and internal inmate number. |
| Booking identifiers | Current booking number, plus case and arrest-related identifiers where supplied. |
| Arrest source | Arresting officer and agency abbreviation, which do not always name the agency that investigated each charge. |
| Charge detail | Description, statute, date added, court, classification, and any operational disposition code shown. |
| Bond | Bond type and required amount at that point, not proof of payment or a release time. |
| Not displayed | No booking photo, clearly labeled booking date, promised release date, or final judgment. |
The dated Arrest Summary Report goes deeper than the roster. It shows exact start and end times, the arrest date and time, an arrest number, a location when one is given, incident numbers, the offense date, the statute, a description, the court, the class, and an entry or judicial status. Bond data and report totals round it out. Non-custody bookings can appear here too. Expect blank or shortened fields now and then.
Pueblo County Booking Workload
Two local numbers explain why a single snapshot misleads. PCSO booked 5,383 people during 2024. A county procurement document put the 2025 average daily population at 428, with a five-year average of 465. The big number measures a full year of booking workload. The smaller ones count who was actually held on a typical day.
Do not try to combine these totals. They answer different questions. One person can pass through booking several times in a year, and the daily count swings with releases, transfers, bonds, and court action. In the end, the figures describe how hard the system is working, nothing more.

No photo shows up in the live roster. The arrest-report PDFs lack one too. To get a booking photo, use the current PCSO criminal-justice records form. Form 024, revised July 22, 2026, prices a booking photo at $5. Reports run $5 for the first ten pages plus $0.25 per added page. Qualifying search or retrieval work costs $30 an hour. Confirm every fee before you file.
- Give the full name, date of birth when useful, booking or report number if known, incident date, and location.
- Describe one precise item, such as the booking photograph for a stated booking date, instead of requesting every file about a person.
- Select the booking-photo item, sign the required state-law pecuniary-gain certification, and include valid identification.
- Mail or deliver the form with cash, check, or money order. A deposit or payment may be required before work begins.
- Choose mail, pickup call, or email delivery. Records are not released at once and may take several days, depending on the record and review.
3830 Medal of Honor Boulevard
Pueblo, CO 81008
719-583-6442, 719-583-6455, or 719-583-6458
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Some requests will be turned down. PCSO policy bars release of active, incomplete, or District-Attorney-referred reports. Sealed, juvenile, medical, victim-identifying, security-sensitive, and investigative material can also be withheld. A denial does not mean no photo exists.
Pueblo County Jail Address Change
Pueblo County's jail moved. The new Detention Center opened at 3830 Medal of Honor Boulevard in 2026, and every jail operation shifted there in July. The current records form lists that address. Older sheriff pages and footers still point to 909 Court Street, and a request mailed there could land at the wrong building.
Send PCSO Records mail or deliveries to Medal of Honor Boulevard unless the agency says otherwise. The detention phone is 719-583-6135. Keep in mind that the move changed nothing about photo rules, roster timing, or what records can be withheld.
The official PCSO Records page carries the current fee and access rules.
The agency page explains the route. The July 2026 form controls the address for any new submission.
Colorado Mugshot Law and Removal
Colorado draws a line between two kinds of records. Ordinary public records sit on one side. Criminal-justice records sit on the other. Arrest, charge, disposition, release, probation, and parole decisions count as records of official action, and those are generally open. Other material can stay discretionary or restricted. A booking photograph is basic identification made after arrest or detention and before conviction. That label alone does not guarantee every image gets released.
The statute at C.R.S. ยง 24-72-305.5 targets one scheme. It covers publishing a booking photo, then charging for its removal. Under the law, it is unlawful to obtain such a photo knowing it will be published and that taking it down will require payment or some other exchange for gain. Requesters must sign a statement. A false statement or other violation can draw a fine of up to $1,000. The law stops short of banning news publication. It also leaves most mugshots non-confidential.
The linked statute text shows the governing booking-photograph provision in full.
Corrections begin with whoever holds the record. Ask the agency or the publisher directly. Skip any paid service that promises deletion without proof it can deliver. On Mugshots.com, the Pueblo County page is unofficial and cumulative. It is not a live feed of recent bookings. It says nothing about current custody or how a case ended. The maintenance policy allows free updates or removals when you supply documents for a listed ground, and free disposition updates are available too. Expect processing to take up to ten business days. Recently Booked has no Pueblo section in its Colorado listings. No current Pueblo pages exist on Busted Newspaper or Mugshots.zone. The same certification rule behind PCSO's form explains why it asks how a requested photograph will be used.
Pueblo County Sealing Record Paths
No single form handles every sealing case. Colorado Judicial's Seal My Case portal splits the paths into arrest with no charge, nonconviction, county or district conviction, municipal conviction, multiple-case, and juvenile tracks. Your result and the court named in the booking report decide which one fits. Waiting periods for eligible convictions vary, and exclusions, restitution, pending matters, and offense-specific rules can all apply. Pick the right route before filing anything.
Sealing is not destruction. A sealed record still exists. The order does not vacate a conviction, and specified courts and agencies keep access. For otherwise eligible convictions, Colorado's waiting periods start from the later of final disposition or release from supervision. The clock runs one year for listed civil infractions and petty offenses. Two or three years apply to listed misdemeanor and lower felony classes. Five years governs other qualifying offenses. Some cases never qualify. Restitution, pending matters, and offense-specific limits can also block relief. Use the Judicial self-help material or talk to a lawyer before assuming an informal web request seals the source file.
Pueblo County Juvenile Arrest Records
Juvenile cases run on a different track. The Children's Code governs them. Expungement works through its own process. Once a qualifying expungement goes through, agencies will typically say no juvenile record exists, though statutory exceptions apply. Timelines and exclusions look nothing like adult sealing. So neither an adult petition nor a blanket request for a minor's booking photo will fill the gap.
Redaction can happen even before expungement. Victim details, medical facts, and other restricted content may be pulled from public view. A missing item only means one thing. It is unavailable through the searched source, nothing more.
CBI Sealing and Web Copies
Colorado law now seals certain records automatically. For qualifying arrests on or after January 1, 2022 that end without a charge, the CBI-controlled record gets sealed once the statutory period passes, subject to limits and notice of charges. CBI does not hunt down every copy out there. Pueblo County, a news outlet, an archive, or a search engine may each keep its own.
Once a page or image comes down or changes, Google's outdated-content tool can refresh the stale result or cache. It cannot touch content still live. Send a court order to each holder directly, through that holder's free correction process. One sealed database never wipes the whole web.
Find Pueblo County Busted Mugshots
Start with custody status, not a photo site. Someone booked minutes ago may only appear once processing finishes. A released person drops off the current roster fast. Yet the same name can linger in a dated report and court file. Prison adds another wrinkle. A state sentence moves the person to CDOC. Federal prison and immigration detention each demand separate tools.
- Search the sheriff's current inmate tool by last name and optional first name. Confirm date of birth and details before relying on a match.
- Search the dated PCSO Arrest Summary Reports for the arrest window, including adjacent PDFs when a weekend or reporting gap is involved.
- Request the booking image from PCSO Records. Neither official county search displays it.
- Use the court field to locate the proper state or municipal case, then request the register of actions, judgment, or disposition.
- Move to CDOC, BOP, or ICE only when the known custody status calls for that separate system.
No match yet? Try a spelling variant and widen the report interval. The gap could stem from processing lag, release, a transfer, a non-custody booking, or a different custodian entirely. Absence from one tool proves nothing about a Pueblo County arrest either way.
Pueblo County Busted Roster Search
The official route begins with the PCSO Inmate Lookup wrapper. It confirms sheriff ownership and points to the direct Pueblo County Tools inmate search. That list covers current county custody only. PCSO promises no minute-by-minute updates. It sets no fixed window for how long a released person's entry stays up. The wrapper documents the official path. It displays no booking photograph.
The embedded public interface carries no image property at all. Treat it as a custody list, not a hidden or delayed mugshot gallery.
| Search or review field | Use | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Last name | Primary search input; check spelling variants when needed. | Yes |
| First name | Narrows a common surname. | No |
| Middle name and birth date | Separate similar names in results. | Review field |
| Name/person number | Stable labeled identifier within the displayed record. | Review field |
| Booking and inmate numbers | Identify the current county custody event and internal record. | Detail field |
| Agency, case, court, charges, bond | Route follow-up to the custodian or court and show booked charges. | Detail field |
| Photo | Not present in the current public roster. | Unavailable |
Start with a name search. Then review each likely match and open the detail view. Looks alone are a poor filter, since two people can share a build and a birthday. Also, a current booking number is not a person number, an inmate number, a case number, or an arrest number. Quote the exact label on the record when asking staff to locate it.
Pueblo County Roster Versus Arrests
Rosters and arrest summaries answer different questions. The roster tells you whether someone sits in current county custody, pending booking and system timing. An arrest PDF lists which arrests and non-custody bookings were recorded during its printed interval. Neither one displays a booking image.
| Source | Coverage | What absence may mean |
|---|---|---|
| Current inmate lookup | People now in the county dataset, with identity, charges, court, and bond details. | Release, transfer, processing lag, spelling mismatch, or no Pueblo jail booking. |
| Arrest Summary Report | All listed agencies, arrest types, jurisdictions, and non-custody bookings in the exact report window. | Wrong date window, missing location detail, another custodian, or no entry in that report. |
| Court record | Case events and the eventual legal outcome. | Wrong court, wrong case number, restricted access, or no filed case. |
A released person can vanish from the roster. The dated report, though, lives on. Flip it around. Someone in an arrest summary may never have stayed in jail, because those reports count non-custody bookings too. Check the stated source and time before drawing any conclusion.
Pueblo County Busted Booking Reports
Booking reports for Pueblo County live in the PCSO Arrest and Incident Archive. It stores dated Arrest Summary Reports alongside Law Incident Summary Reports. The scope of each file is right on its face. One covering roughly a single day gives a same-day picture. A longer printed interval, or several adjacent PDFs strung together, gives a multi-day view. Don't hunt for a permanent 72-hour button. The site doesn't offer one.
Open every PDF before trusting its range. Titles alone won't tell you whether a file covers a single midnight-to-midnight stretch. One example ran from 6 a.m. on October 24 through 5:59:59 a.m. on October 27 and logged 47 arrests. That interval describes only that report, not a fixed weekend schedule. New files tend to appear on business days or nearly daily, and a multi-day report sometimes fills a gap. Inside, expect arrest times and numbers, locations when given, incident numbers, offenses, statutes, court, class, status, bonds, and totals. Photos are not included.
If the date you need has aged off the web archive, contact PCSO Records and ask for the dated Arrest Summary Report. Give the exact interval and any identifiers you have. A file vanishing online doesn't mean it was destroyed.
Pueblo County Busted Custody Channels
One Pueblo County arrest can touch several record systems, and they aren't interchangeable. Someone currently held in the county appears in the sheriff lookup. A person released may still show up in old reports or court files. A state sentence shifts custody to CDOC. Federal and immigration systems answer entirely different custody questions.
| Status | Best source | Photo status |
|---|---|---|
| Just booked | PCSO roster after processing, plus the dated arrest report when posted. | No photo in either public county tool. |
| Currently held | PCSO inmate lookup. | Request a releasable county booking photo from Records. |
| Released or non-custody booking | Dated arrest report, PCSO record request, and the proper court. | Potentially available from Records while retained. |
| Sentenced to Colorado prison | CDOC offender search and CDOC records. | Profile-dependent; a qualifying profile may include an image. |
| Federal prison | BOP Inmate Locator. | No photo in the locator. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator. | No public mugshot service. |
Pueblo County Busted Prisoner Photos
The Colorado Inmate Search takes a DOC number of up to six digits, a last name, a first name, and gender. It covers people sentenced into Colorado corrections, along with related parole information. It does not cover everyone arrested in Pueblo County or held pretrial at the county jail. A matching profile may show identifying details and sometimes a CDOC image. A photo isn't guaranteed with every result.
For anything missing, go through CDOC's own records process. That beats paying PCSO's fee.
The BOP Inmate Locator handles federal prison records and some history on released people. It shows no inmate photographs. Material older than 1982 may sit with the National Archives instead. The ICE Online Detainee Locator searches immigration detention by A-number plus country of birth or by biographical details. It is not a criminal case record and not a mugshot source. No verified source places the Pueblo County Detention Center under an ICE contract.
Pueblo County Busted Custody Alerts
No official PCSO inmate or booking app exists. The sheriff's site works well on phones, and the CivicPlus "My Apps" wording refers to web modules, not an app-store jail product. The GettingOut app linked for visits handles communication only. It is not an inmate search or a booking-photo feed.
VINELink can send custody-change notices after you select Colorado and the right Pueblo record. It fills a different need than the roster. The roster answers a question right now; a notification flags a change as it happens. VINE offers neither court outcomes nor a mugshot database.
PCSO Notify Me, emergency alerts, news releases, and official social channels add agency context. Pueblo Police runs its own city notices and selected bulletins. None promises every booking or image, so the roster, the archive, and the courts stay the core chain.
Pueblo County Busted Court Outcomes
Pueblo County sits in Colorado's Tenth Judicial District. The Pueblo Judicial docket shows a one-week calendar of near-term settings. It is not a full case-history search. A name or case may be missing because the window is short or the matter sits in another court.
For the legal outcome itself, file through the Judicial record and document request and request the register of actions, disposition, judgment, or sentencing order. Include the case number when you can.
- Booking
- Jail intake that records identity, alleged charges, property, fingerprints, and a photograph.
- Bond
- A court-set release condition; a listed amount does not show that it was paid.
- Arraignment
- A court stage at which charges and a plea are addressed.
- Disposition
- The recorded outcome of a charge or case, such as dismissal, acquittal, or conviction.
- Detainer
- A request or notice from another authority that may affect custody or release.
- Expungement
- A statutory process used chiefly for qualifying juvenile records in Colorado, distinct from adult sealing.
Pueblo County Booking Court Routing
Pueblo runs both state county or district court and a municipal court. The court field printed in a booking or arrest report tells you which records office owns the eventual disposition. Pueblo Police sends disposition requests straight to the court that handled the case. A sheriff record can't substitute for that outcome.
Pueblo Combined Court sits at 501 N. Elizabeth Street, Pueblo, CO 81003, phone 719-404-8700. Customer service and the Records Department keep weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Municipal-code cases may instead belong to Pueblo Municipal Court, which runs its own calendar, warrant information, certified dispositions, and sealing routes. Start with the named court.
Pueblo County Busted News Sources
Where do you turn for Pueblo County busted news? Start with the official sources. PCSO, Pueblo Police, the courts, and CDOC hold the records that matter. News outlets pick up what they choose, when they choose. A story tagged "Pueblo County" proves nothing by itself. It doesn't confirm custody, location, or how a case ended. Among regional outlets, KOAA News5 Crime stands out as the strongest dedicated crime desk. The Pueblo Chieftain, KRDO Pueblo, KKTV Crime, FOX21 Crime, and the Pueblo Star Journal round out the coverage. Treat none of them as a complete booking feed.
The one county-local commercial page worth knowing is Mugshots.com Pueblo County. Expect a cumulative alphabetical inventory with images. It is not a same-day report, so verify anything you find there against PCSO and the court record. The operator's free record-maintenance policy explains how listed entries can be removed with supporting documents and how outcomes can be updated at no cost. Nobody needs a paid service to use that published path.
Other sites fall short here. Recently Booked skips Pueblo in its Colorado inventory. No current Pueblo section appears on Busted Newspaper or Mugshots.zone. Access limits also block confirmation of the plausible Arrests.org county route. Follow the trail backwards instead. For a news article, go to the dated sheriff report first, then the court disposition.
Pueblo County Busted Mugshot Archives
How long does the sheriff keep booking photos? PCSO's request page publishes no retention term for them. No approved schedule turned up either. So ask Records directly for the current Colorado-State-Archives-approved schedule, plus the record series holding the booking file or image, its retention period, and its final disposition. Never assume a generic five-year, ten-year, or permanent term for a Pueblo photo.
Old arrest archives online are useful history. They are not legal retention schedules. When a PDF vanishes, request the dated report from the custodian who created it. And don't assume historical material lands with the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder. It doesn't transfer there automatically.
For genuinely old state corrections material, a different archive applies. The Colorado State Archives finding-aids index lists open prisoner photographs, negatives, and older reformatory records by call number. These collections cover state prison or reformatory custody. They are not today's county roster, and not necessarily Pueblo-specific. An archival request should name the collection and call number, the full name or aliases, likely dates, the institution, and the offender number when known.
Pueblo County Busted Mugshots by City
Pueblo County contains three incorporated municipalities. The split in record-keeping matters. Pueblo Police Department holds city incident and arrest reports. PCSO holds the county booking and custody record. Boone and Rye have no separate municipal police department or arrest-log site, so their record path runs through the sheriff and the shared detention center. Pueblo West and Colorado City sit outside any city limits. Both stay under countywide PCSO coverage and get no separate city pages here.
- Pueblo Busted Mugshots: city police report through PPD, county booking through PCSO, and outcome through the court shown in the record.
- Boone Busted Mugshots: PCSO current custody, dated county arrest reports, and a targeted sheriff photo request.
- Rye Busted Mugshots: PCSO roster and archives first, followed by the correct Pueblo court for disposition.
Every one of these routes ends at the same place when a local arrest becomes a county booking: the Pueblo County Detention Center. Still, a town name in an address or news story means little on its own. Confirm it inside the official arrest record.
